Pretpark Hennie

What drives someone to keep building for ten years on a dream that never seems to become reality?

In the documentary Pretpark Hennie, initiated by Remy Steijger and directed by Max Ploeg, we follow unconventional entrepreneur Hennie van der Most as he works on his life’s project at a former waste incineration plant in Rotterdam: an amusement park in the heart of the city, built largely from reused materials.

The film shows how vision, perseverance and reality continually collide, and how Hennie keeps believing in what is possible when everything seems to be working against him. A story about entrepreneurship, resilience and the courage to think differently.
