In a scene long defined by men, a new movement is rising. Her Sound explores the evolving world of electronic music through the lens of female DJs, artists and industry leaders who are helping to reshape the future of dance music.
Featuring world-renowned techno artist Charlotte de Witte, pioneering Dutch DJ DJ Isis and internationally acclaimed artist Joris Voorn, the film combines personal stories with candid conversations about ambition, opportunity, representation and change.
Beyond the artists on stage, Her Sound also shines a light on the people working behind the scenes. Managers, festival organisers, talent bookers and industry executives share their experiences and perspectives, revealing the invisible forces that shape careers and influence who gets heard. Together, their stories paint a nuanced picture of an industry in transition.
