As war breaks out in Ukraine, Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation finds itself confronting a reality far beyond music. The Invisible Force follows founders Sharon den Adel and Robert Westerholt as they become increasingly involved with a conflict that is reshaping lives across Europe.
What begins as an expression of solidarity gradually evolves into direct action. Determined to do more than raise awareness from afar, Sharon travels to Kyiv to meet fans, connect with Ukrainian musicians and perform a special concert in the heart of a country at war. Along the way, the film captures the emotional impact of a journey that challenges both the artists and the people they encounter.
Beyond the stage, The Invisible Force reveals the human stories behind the headlines. Through intimate access, powerful encounters and extraordinary moments of courage, the film explores how music can create connection, offer hope and become a force for resilience in the darkest of times.
