ENSHI Films (non-music)

Remy Steijger is an independent film producer. Over the past decade, he developed and produced a wide range of non fiction productions through his role as founder of Captains, creating films and documentaries for broadcasters, streaming platforms and brands.

Through ENSHI, his primary focus lies on music related storytelling and cultural impact films. At the same time, ENSHI Films remains open to non music projects whenever the subject truly matters and has the potential to create emotional or social impact.

Many of the productions Remy is involved in contain a strong human or social theme. His role often goes beyond traditional producing, helping shape the creative direction of a project, assembling the right crew, connecting filmmakers and partners, finding financing, and building collaborations with brands, broadcasters or distributors.

Previous productions include Força Koeman for Videoland, Tallon: Under Pressure for HBO Max, and various sports and human interest documentaries exploring themes such as ambition, mental pressure, resilience and personal transformation.

Pretpark Hennie was initiated by Remy Steijger during his time as founder of Captains. The documentary follows the remarkable and sometimes painful story of entrepreneur Hennie van der Most and his dream of building a new amusement park. What started as a story about passion and ambition gradually evolved into an emotional portrait about entrepreneurship, hope, setbacks and perseverance.

The film received significant media attention in the Netherlands and was praised for its human approach and cinematic style.

ENSHI Films focuses on stories with character. Stories about people who dare to dream, build, fail and start again. Because that is where the most meaningful cinema begins.
